Let me sum up the 2 working days for Singtel MIO.
The job recommended by friend to work for Singtel is really a slack one haha. Nothing much to do except giving out flyers and free goodies. I swear Singtel is one fucking rich company. They gave out umbrellas, shopping bags etc. Also, Singaporeans are really kiasu, in a way that you cannot believe it. -.-
Total up, we only worked for 4 hours or less per day. Love and i really had lots of fun working there. It's like fun work, with money, what's more to ask? We get to meet really different kind of pple and how Singaporeans get crazy over freebies LOL.
The angmohs are really polite. The aunties like freebies a lot. When we run out of stickers, there's this particular auntie that say we had lousy service etc. WTF? Is she a joker or? Giving flyers also need good/bad service? Weird encounters. But anyway, most aunties/grannies just want the bags. Oh, some even asked for umbrellas. We do give them out but only after the event ended then we are entitled to give it out.
After event on Sunday, there's this group photos together with umbrellas on the floor. After the photo-taking session, the passerbys started to snatch the umbrellas leh. Some people because of the spoilt umbrella wanna see our IC and complain. WTF, it's just an umbrella, need to make such big fuss.
We always see the ugly side of Singaporeans, really.
Finally when everything ended, we met up with CW & co. for dinner and movies! They are always fun people to hang out with.
